Terra/Frisbie Hid Surfside Litigation in January 9th Proposal

TERRA/FRISBIE HID TERRA’S CHAMPLAIN TOWERS SOUTH LITIGATION HISTORY IN JANUARY 9TH PROPOSAL TO THE CITY OF BOCA RATON

ONLY ONE SLIDE OF “LITIGATION HISTORY” WAS PRESENTED WHICH HAD ONLY A SINGLE CASE PERTAINING TO FRISBIE GROUP

— In Terra/Frisbie's January 9th, 2025 "Proposal for Redevelopment of City Hall Campus," there was a single page -- Page 87 -- that presented "Litigation History" and stated "The following is the litigation history in the past five (5) years involving any projects or key personnel in the Proposer's firm."  Only one lawsuit involving Frisbie group was listed.

— Terra Group, LLC  is part of the group of defendants that was sued in Miami-Dade County and thereafter entered into a massive settlement agreement with the victims of the Champlain Towers South Collapse in Miami, which collapsed on June 24th, 2021.

— The total settlement amount is $1.2 Billion and Terra Group LLC and its affiliate Terra World Investments, by and through its insurers, did pay out a sizable share of the settlement.

— Terra Group LLC was involved in the construction of the luxury condominium project, known as Eighty-Seven Park, which was built directly next door to the Champlain Towers South building. It was alleged in litigation that the construction and excavation work at the Eighty-Seven Park project caused considerable damage and destabilization to the Champlain Towers structure and was therefore partially responsible for the building’s collapse.

Above is the only page of Terra/Frisbie's January 9th, 2025 Proposal to the City of Boca Raton that presents "Litigation History." The page states it includes  "litigation history in the past five (5) years." Terra's involvement in the Champlain Towers South Collapse lawsuit was not included.  The tower collapsed in 2021.
